French Antique Boulle Mantel Clock Italian Meticulously restored by our expertA 20th century French bell striking clock crafted in 18th century style (popular clockmaker design before the revolution cut off the heads of most customers for expensive clocks). These types of clocks were made by sandwiching plates of brass and tortoiseshell and then cutting a pattern through both simultaneously. This clock is in "contre partie": there is a brass base with tortoiseshell inlay. Adorned with Roman ornaments and numerals. Revised.
