This illustration was hand drawn by Pullman for the Lantern Slides Edition of His Dark Materials and corresponds to "Chapter Eleven: Armour" from Northern Lights (The Golden Compass). These prints are hand signed by Philip Pullman and are offered in a limited edition of 100. These are letterpress prints, one of the oldest printing techniques, dating
