Its (almost always) a bit more flexible than an Evolving Wilds, but not so powerful that players can just build 4-color piles with no consequences (which was an issue when I had the Prismatic Vistas in there)

Building The Deck Zack Fairs ability to pass on counters is limited by the fact that he has to die to do so, and a single +1/+1 counter isnt valuable enough to deal with the growing commander tax as you loop casting and sacrificing him

This card is doing a great job at being generically good enough to fit into any strategy that cares about lots of tokens and artifacts being in play
